THE HOSPITAL
Colorado River Medical Center serves the tri-state areas of Arizona, California and Nevada and is located along the beautiful Colorado River in Needles, California. The service area comprises approximately 60,000 people and is expected to grow considerably in the next few years. With the hospital in the heart of this dramatic growth area, there are many opportunities for physicians, nurses and specialty services. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. This 53-bed facility prides itself on the quality of care and professionalism.
Colorado River Medical Center offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including 24-hour Emergency Room, Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, an ACR-certified Mammography Unit, Rehab Services including Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies, Cardiopulmonary Services, complete Laboratory Services, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Social Services and Obstetrics. The Surgical Department provides inpatient and outpatient general and specialty procedures.

Needles is a family oriented community located conveniently on Interstate 40 and offers affordable luxury homes in the neighboring Arizona and Nevada communities, as well as Needles. Needles Unified School District includes two elementary schools, a junior and senior high school. Mohave Community College is located 20 miles away and offers a wide selection of classes. San Bernardino Valley College provides extension courses through Needles High School. The University of Nevada Las Vegas is 120 miles from Needles and is easily accessible year-round.

The Colorado River flows through the center of the tri-state communities and offers recreational activities from swimming and fishing to miles of boating and great scenery. The warm summers and mild winters enable residents to explore the Mojave Desert and the many off-road desert hiking trails. Needles offers one of the areas finest golf courses in addition to eight others within a short driving time. A water park is open in the summer months and the Community Center provides year-round activities for the entire family. The London Bridge in nearby Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is the second most popular tourist attraction in the state, after the Grand Canyon.
